Worship Update – COVID19
On December 8, the Indiana Department of Health designated Blackford County as “Red” Advisory Level. At this level, it is suggested that gatherings be limited to 25 people or less. Because of this, Zion Lutheran Church will not hold in-person services on December 12 or December 19.
It is painful for us to not gather in person, especially during this season of Advent where we await the coming of Jesus on Christmas. While it is painful and disappointing, we answer the call of self-sacrificing love with the hopes that our decision can be part of the solution for an overtaxed healthcare and hospital system.
While we will not gather in person, we continue to be church together. We will have online worship available and those who are unable to access the worship service online are encouraged to contact the church office to receive a CD, DVD, or written copy of the sermon.
Please continue to pray for all of those suffering from COVID-19 as well as healthcare professionals working with them.
