Thank you for visiting Zion Lutheran Church's home on the web!

Here you will find information about our congregation, our beliefs, and our ministries.  We are:

People saved by grace through Jesus Christ.
People committed to Christ’s work in the world.
People who are confident that God is working in the world. We believe that God is constantly “making all things new” (Revelation 21:5).

We hope you will take a moment to find out about the people of Zion, where we are located, and when we worship. We invite you to be a part of our mission and ministry to Blackford County and the world.

Wednesday Evening Prayer in Lent

Come worship with us on Wednesday nights during the Lenten season, March 13th-April 10th, at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Enter by the kitchen door at the back of the church or by the front doors and go down the stairs directly in front of you. As we commemorated women of faith during Advent, this Lent we will commemorate often-overlooked men of faith.

March 13th - St. Joseph, Husband of Mary and Guardian of Jesus

March 20th - St. Moses the Black, Monk and Martyr, ca. 400

March 27th - Bartolomé de las Casas, Bishop and Missionary to the West Indies, 1566.

April 3rd - Jehu Jones, Jr., First African American Lutheran Pastor, 1852

April 10th - Gudina Tumsa, Theologian and Martyr, 1979.
